Wow. It's been a while!
I don't know if I can say that I really know why I've been gone. It could be that long stories burn me out...and this is a long one! It could be that I just needed a break. It could have been writer's block. It could have been seasonal allergies....I don't know. I just lost all of my drive to create. It was actually pretty awful....my brain needs these stories to chew on or it gets nuts. So, I had a brain going nuts, and no creative drive. Ugh.
Anyway, Doc is back! He seems at ease with the locals, doesn't he? I imagine him thinking things like "You stupid savage!" while seeming all cool on the outside. :) Doc's all class....until he isn't, that is.
I've also set up a Facebook page for "Dave Flora Presents", with lots of nifty pictures of stuff (and the latest news and discussions) over there. You should see a "Like" thingy over there on the right. Just click it and let me know if it works!
Now that I'm back....I'm going to be out of touch for a few days, out on a family vacation....so don't feel offended if I don't respond to comments immediately. You know I love you guys!

Good to see you and Doc back! :D I think everyone has those creative lulls from time to time. They're horrible, but I'm glad you pulled through it! :D
Welcome back! We all go thru those creative anomalies - it just happens sometimes. Go Dave go!!! Enjoy your vacation.

You've got a life and a human nervous system. You don't have to explain things to us. It's not like we're paying you for this. Having said that, I'm very glad you're continuing with Doc Monster. It's already clear that you've got something special here. One of those "extraordinary talents with the perfect subject" kind of situations. I've been talking Doc up to whoever will listen. It's got that crackle of energy. Thanks for the hard work.
Also, "...Monster. Is that french?" "No." That's just really great.
